We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join our qualified teaching team. You will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive educational plan according to the needs of our center. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to the students while helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate must be passionate about their work and their ability to reach out to students. He or she must be able to establish a relationship of mutual trust. He or she must know how to organize a class and make learning a simple and meaningful process.

The goal is to help cultivate students’ interest in education and to be their dedicated ally in the entire learning and development process.

 Responsibilities

• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio aids to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
• Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback
• Courses are taught both online on our platform and in person. He or she must be computer literate and have a good internet connection wherever he or she is to teach
• Have a computer 
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in meetings on a regular basis
• Keep the classroom clean and orderly
• Report on learning materials each time before and after using the room
• Ensure the security and protection of the teaching materials against theft, destruction or any other element that could damage the materials
• Report any element that could compromise or damage the teaching material
• Submit their TimeSheet at the end of each class according to the existing template
• Post their courses, assignments and other activities online before the start of the school year
• Suggest any other activities, methods, techniques and professional approach to improve the Center’s activities
• Make suggestions for the improvement of the school’s procedures
• Schedule and execute educational activities and events in the classroom and outdoors
• Observe and understand student behavior and psyche while reporting suspected neglect, abuse, etc.
• Develop and enhance professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc.

 Requirements

• Proven experience as a teacher and practitioner
• Thorough knowledge of educational best practices and legal guidelines in education coupled with a willingness to follow school policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well organized and dedicated
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline

Degree in teaching or strong experience in teaching or a similar field.

Salary and motivation: 10 000 F.CFA/hour

Performance bonus according to the teacher’s performance
