We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join our qualified teaching team. As part of the French language repetition course for elementary, high school and college students, you will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive pedagogical plan based on the needs of the school. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and their ability to reach out to students. He or she will stand out for his or her ability to build mutual trust. He or she must know how to organize a class and make learning a simple and meaningful process.

The goal is to help cultivate students’ interest in education and to be their dedicated ally in the entire learning and development process.

N.B.:

Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.

The French and English language courses are given online only

Responsibilities

• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio aids to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
• Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback
• Submit your TimeSheet at the end of each course
• Courses are taught only online on our purpose-built platform. He or she must be computer literate and have a good internet connection wherever he or she is to teach
• Have a computer
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
• Post lessons, assignments and other activities online before the start of the school year
• Propose any other activities, methods, techniques and professional approach to improve the activities of the Center
• Schedule and execute educational activities and events in the classroom and outdoors
• Observe and understand the behavior and psyche of students while reporting suspected neglect, abuse, etc.
• Develop and enhance professional skills and knowledge by participating in seminars, conferences, etc.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a teacher
• Thorough knowledge of educational best practices and legal guidelines coupled with a willingness to follow school policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well organized and dedicated
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline

Degree in teaching or strong experience in the field of teaching or a similar position

Salary and motivation: $25/hour

Employer’s contribution to the RRSP which gives you the right to the tax credit each year and the retirement pension

Mode of work: Only online except in case of need of an on-site interview that you will be called to come to the office as agreed with the management staff in question.
