Responsibilities

• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio aids to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
• Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback
• Submit your TimeSheet at the end of each course
• Courses are taught only online on our purpose-built platform. He or she must be computer literate and have a good internet connection wherever he or she is to teach
• Have a computer
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
• Post lessons, assignments and other activities online before the start of the school year
• Propose any other activities, methods, techniques and professional approach to improve the activities of the Center
• Schedule and execute educational activities and events in the classroom and outdoors
• Observe and understand the behavior and psyche of students while reporting suspected neglect, abuse, etc.
• Develop and enhance professional skills and knowledge by participating in seminars, conferences, etc.

We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Manager to join our team.

Part time – temps partiel : 8 hours every 2 weeks to be rescheduled at your convenience – Please note that the number of hours of work could be changed at any time according to our needs and go from part time to full time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive pedagogical plan according to the needs of CYP Canada and the Canadian educational standards.
• Ensure the planning, organization, direction, control, evaluation of the activities of the teaching staff and the evaluation of the educational affairs of CYP Canada. 
• Coordinate the teaching activities of CYP Canada and, to this end, assign staff to their duties, suggest the number of students in each class and propose a schedule of hours for each course;
• Ensure that the teacher is present and that he/she has given his/her lesson within the allotted time and follows the instructions of CYP Canada
• Ensure the immediate replacement of an absent, dismissed or resigned teacher
• Organize and collect periodic suggestions from students, teachers and others to improve our services
• To assess the quality of each teacher’s work and provide coaching when needed
• Suggest the recruitment of new teachers and ensure the recruitment if approved by the General Management
• Suggest the dismissal of a teacher if necessary
• Analyze and make suggestions for the improvement and development of CYP Canada’s activities
• To ensure that all CYP Canada activities operate smoothly and within the framework of the laws and regulations of the region and country in which it is located
• To represent CYP Canada wherever necessary under the approval of the General Management
• Provide a general report on the activities of CYP Canada and on each teacher every two weeks

• CYP Canada also offers online and in-person tax filing services to individuals and businesses – he/she is responsible for greeting, receiving calls or online requests from clients, informing them about our services, gathering information and making appointments with the client according to our availability schedules and informing the tax preparer of the day and time agreed upon to file each client’s tax return.
